CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association)

Global IT trade association with influence in all areas of the IT industry worldwide. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Chicago, USA, but has offices all over the world. CompTIA is recently supporting the 'Campaign for Creativity'.

Associated members worth mentioning are: Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel and Microsoft (total of more than 20.000 members in 102 countries on Nov 24th 2005).
